At ReTechie, we’re committed to delivering reliable refurbished laptops with excellent after-sales support. To ensure peace of mind, we offer 2-year and 3-year warranty coverage, depending on the model. All warranties are directly provided by ReTechie and are not associated with the original brand or manufacturer.
Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights, what is covered, and how to seek support under the warranty.
Warranty Activation & Applicability
- Warranty starts after the 7-day return window ends.
- All laptops sold by ReTechie include warranty coverage, but the duration (2 or 3 years) may vary based on the product.
- The warranty is applicable only for hardware-related issues as listed below.
- This warranty is non-transferable and only valid for the original purchaser.
What the Warranty Covers
ReTechie’s warranty is divided into two service categories:
1. Minor Issues (Resolved Onsite or at Local Center)
- Software configuration errors
- Charging or power issues (excluding damage)
- Keyboard malfunction
- Port connectivity issues
- WiFi or Bluetooth not working
2. Major Issues (Pickup Required)
- Motherboard failure
- SSD or RAM failure
- Screen malfunction (not from impact)
- Internal component failure (non-user damage)
For any covered issues, we will attempt repair first. If a product has a critical issue that cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, we may provide a replacement, based on availability.
Warranty Service Procedure
We aim to provide hassle-free support and flexible repair options depending on your location and issue type.
Onsite Support (Minor Issues)
- If the issue is minor and your area is serviceable, our technician will visit your address to repair the laptop.
- If your area is not accessible for onsite service, we may direct you to a nearby ReTechie-authorized service partner.
- If there is no service center within 30 km, we will arrange a pickup and drop service at no extra cost.
- Pickup & Repair (Major Issues)
- For serious hardware failures like motherboard or screen issues, we will arrange a pickup from your location.
- The product will be serviced at our central repair facility.
- Repair time is 7 to 14 business days, depending on the part and location.
- After repair, the product will be shipped back to the customer.
Accessory Issues
- If the issue is limited to accessories (charger, bag, etc.), we will only replace the defective accessory, not the laptop.
- The customer is not required to return the entire laptop for accessory replacement.

Once received, we will call you back within 24 hours, raise a support ticket, and assign the request to a technician based on your location. Our goal is to resolve your issue as fast and efficiently as possible.
Replacement Policy Under Warranty
Warranty does not guarantee product replacement, but if an issue is deemed unrepairable or a major component is beyond economic repair, ReTechie may offer a replacement laptop.
- If the same brand/model is unavailable, a similar laptop with equivalent or better specifications will be offered.
- Replacement decisions are made only after inspection and confirmation by our service team.
What is Not Covered
ReTechie warranty does not cover the following:
- Physical damage, impact cracks, or liquid damage
- Damage caused by electrical surges or mishandling
- Battery wear (natural degradation over time)
- Cosmetic issues: scratches, dents, faded keys, etc.
- Software issues caused by third-party apps or user changes
- Unauthorized repair or opening of the device by non-ReTechie personnel
- Accessories unless specifically covered (charger, bag, etc.)

During the warranty period, all shipping charges are fully covered by ReTechie for eligible repairs or replacements. Whether it’s a pickup for inspection or delivery after service, customers are not required to pay any shipping or courier fees.
